DAY 15, 16, 17, 18, & 19.

I've been extremely busy running errands everyday for the past few days. Finally time to update a little. Here are five days worth of the last five days for the Blog Challenge.

DAY 15: Put your iPod on shuffle & share the first 10 songs that play.
* Note: I have not updated my ipod in months!
1. 21 Guns
2. My President is Black
3. Us Against the World
4. Bu De Bu Ai
5. Every Girl
6. Blue Bird
7. You are not Alone
8. Paparazzi (Acoustic)
9. F.I.L.O
10. Holy

DAY 16: Something you could live without.
I could live without big-headed people. People who think they're hot shit, all the freaking time. You are not as big as you think you are.

DAY 17: Someone you would want to switch lives with for one day and why.
I would like to switch lives with Gu Jan Di from "Boys Before Flowers." I know it's a korean drama but I want to spend all the good and bad times she had with Gu Jun Pyo. He is adorable.

DAY 18: Plans/dreams/goals you have.
Stick to a job/career that will sustain my life and the future.
Someday own a nice home.
Pay off my debt and car payments.
Get down to a healthy weight for my height.

DAY 19: Nicknames you have/had & how or why you have them.
* Shorty: I am short. I had it in junior high. You would think I would have grown some since, but I didn't. I still live by that name.
* Rick Ross: I do not remember how I got this nickname but I respond. All I know is, I got it because "Rose" almost sounds like "Ross", kind of?
* Rosie GreatestEver: Because I am great. Well, credits to Drake and his lyrics in the song "Forever." I wanted to somethow put the lines, "Last name, Ever. First name, Greatest" into my facebook name. I wanted to associate my name with it too so I changed it to my last name. A few friends have made references to it.

DAY 13 & 14: Letter & Food Porn.

I probably failed the blog "challenge" since I am a day late but better late than never. I will continue the challenge at my own pace. I have been busy.

DAY 13: Write a letter telling someone something you could never tell them.
If only I were able to turn back the hands of time. I don't regret anything I did. But it would be nice if I could change a few things. And maybe delete you.

DAY 14: A picture of something you ate and 10 confessions.

CAFE LATTE with Mai Bao. The food and dessert was delicious as always. This was from yesterday night but oh well. I didn't take any food photos today. I haven't been there since my birthday in July, but I had a slice of their cheesecake last month.

Confessions:
I stole the cookie from the cookie jar.
Sometimes I wonder how I made it. I did a lot of things as a pre-teen and teen that I would be angry with if I were my own child.
I'm getting a tattoo this week.
And uhhhhh, I'm tired. I fail the challenge. xP

P.S. Penny didn't make it to KDWB's Pet Costume contest. I'm bummed but oh well. Maybe next time. If you're interested in looking at the ones that made it, click this link. KDWB Pet Costume Contest.

DAY 12: A picture of your room & don’t cheat by cleaning it.

It only looks messy. But it's not as bad as it looks. Pictures can be deceiving. Oh, and that's my closet door. Thank goodness for a walk-in closet. More storage room too!

On another note, I finally had the balls to watch Paranormal Activity 1. I don't know if I'm ready for part 2. It wasn't as scary as I thought and it felt slow but it was still a bit creepy.

Antoine DOGson.

Inspired by the internet sensation, Bed Intruder, the boyfriend and I created a hand-made costume for our puppy, Penny. She was falling asleep during her shoot. We kept her up with treats. The photo will be submitted to a Pet Costume contest hosted by a local radio station, 101.3 KDWB. Voting starts Monday 10-25-2010. VOTE. Thanks in advance! Go to http://www.daveryanshow.com

Our entry.

The finished look.

Run and tell that.

The boyfriend and I are making Penny's costume. It is her very first Halloween. We're almost finished with it. I will be posting up the final look when it is complete. Our friend Lili bought Penny a witch costume already but the one Boyfriend and I are making is for a contest. We're submitting her photo to a local radio station. (101.3 KDWB) It's worth a shot. I will be posting up a link once voting starts. Please support! Thanks in advance. :)

DAY 11: A picture of something you dislike.

I dislike bugs and insects. I refuse to post a picture. I Google imaged it and chills ran down my spine. Especially SPIDERS! No thanks.

Sunset and Sunrise.

The boyfriend and I picked my sister up from Target and noticed how great the sky looked today. We rushed to my place and grabbed my camera. The sun was beginning to set as we did our best to drive at a fast but reasonable speed. I was not able to capture the sun, but the colors were still gorgeous.

I was able to capture this during a roadtrip from Minnesota to Oregon. This one was taken on the way back to Minnesota. The sun was beginning to rise while we drove through Montana. Rocky Mountains.

Day 10: A story about a past relationship.

To make it short and simple, it was a well lesson learned. I live past it now and forgave everyone involved. I thank him for being the person he was. I was able to grow from my mistakes and naive decisions.

Bits and pieces of scraps.

I picked up my scrap booking items at Crystals today. I've been so lazy. I started the book in 2007! It's barely half way finished. I have a ton of stickers and things to decorate with, I just need to print out pictures. That is the reason for my non-existent motivation. I'm not close to being finished with the book but I'm already thinking of a new project. I bought a shadow box today. It's a small project so it should be fun and quick. Can't wait for my prints to come in! Get your decorating-on.

P.S. Anyone want to be scrap booking buddies? I'm forreal.

The many things waiting to be used in a project.

DAY 9: Something/Someone you're proud of.

I'm proud of my parents. They're such strong individuals. My sister, brothers, and I can be such a pain in the hole, but they always put up with our crap and take us back after everything has been said and done. I cannot repay all the love and care they've given me in this lifetime, but my family is everything. Without my parents, I would be no one.

DAY 8: Short term goals for this month and why.

Hmmm, it's already mid October. Short term goal equals, do something for Halloween. Dress up and go crazy. Yeah. Because Halloween is the time of the year where dressing up in anything and everything is acceptable.

This was my Lady Gaga attempt for the year 2009. I sewed that shirt. I might give it another shot this year, but a different look and more "Gaga-ish" ... I also need a longer blonde wig.

Sunset "chase."

My friend Mai Yang told me the skies were pretty and to go look. I received the message 20 minutes after she posted and attempted to run out to my car anyway. It was fail. I only got to the end of my driveway. I figured once I drive to an open area the sun would have been gone already. So, here is my take.

DAY 7: A picture of something/someone that has the biggest impact on you.

:)

Ohana. Family is everything.

Weekend Buys. Recap.

I did a little shopping over the weekend at Mall of America and Woodbury Lakes with my cousins Zoua and Xong. Overall, satisfied. It was great hanging out with them again.

Top left, Bare Study paint pot by MAC.
Below the paint pot is a sharpener from Sephora.
Bottom, from left, two new shades I bought for the MAC palette.
The product on the the right is Victoria's Secrets, Bombshell. I found a fragrance I liked from Sephora but decided to return it and settle with V.S., for now.

My MAC palette, almost complete. Yes, I like my neutral colors. I might get a new palette for fun colors, but we'll see since I already own a version of the 120 eyeshadow palette. (Thanks Mai Bao)

I did some shopping at Target. I saw E.L.F. products and couldn't resist. ELF eyeliner and shadow stick in pearl, ELF regular and waterproof mascara duo, and ELF makeup remover wipes. Bottom right is the eyeshadow duo in Chic by Jemma Kidd.

Last item is the new shoe I bought from H&M. Adorable for a good price.

P.S. I also bought a parking space in Minneapolis over the weekend. I parked 10 minutes over a 1 hour parking spot. I had no idea, a tree was blocking the sign. :(

DAY 6: A hobby you have.

DAY 3: A bad habit that you wish you didn't have.

Being a hoarder. It might be a good thing. Sometimes. [??] .. I'm not a compulsive hoarder. So that's good. But still. While cleaning and going through things I like to think, "maybe I'll need this in the future. Keep it." Then the next time I clean, I say it again. It's an ongoing "maybe." Recently I grew some balls to throw out some old unnecessary things. Sadly, or not, I threw away all the private-one-to-one notebooks/letters that I shared with friends throughout junior high and high school after reading them one more time! I threw away a few old magazines and some stuff that came in the mail. I donated old clothes that I obviously don't wear but like to think that maybe someday I will. I'm getting better at this.

30 Day Blog Challenge. DAY 1 & 2.

I started the blog challenge yesterday, since I didn't get the chance to post yesterdays entry, here's both, day 1 and 2.

Day 1: A recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself.

1. After 20 years, I finally got the opportunity to travel beyond the MN/WI borders.
2. I still have not been on an airplane.
3. Today I learned what a speedometer and rev counter is.
4. Dave Ryan keeps me up during my first 4 hours of work.
5. I used to collect Starburst wrappers.
6. In junior high, because of stage fright, to avoid being the only one going on stage to claim my certificate, I missed a day before the ceremony. I was still awarded "perfect" attendance. Also, there were 3 of us.
7. One time, I smoked in the girls bathroom during school hours.
8. I played the violin for 2 years in grade school. I had "My Heart Will Go On" down.
9. The boyfriend ditched school with me the second day we met.
10. I must shower or wash my hair every day. If I don't, I feel like crap the next.
11. Today I fed Penny boiled chicken with rice. Must go buy dog food tomorrow.
12. I color coordinate the clothes in my closet.
13. I used to play video games so much I still have callus on my right thumb. Barely.
14. In 5th grade I attempted to rollerblade down a hill. I ended up falling over and still have minor scars on my left hand.
15. I have a bad habit of cracking my knuckles.

Day 2: A picture of something you cannot live without.

My external hard drive. Yes, I named it Squirtle. I store everything in it. I thought I lost all my photos/vidoes/music/documents one time and almost cried. Also, my cellphone. It's unbelievable how empty I feel when I don't have it with me or when the battery dies.

Before leaving.

Crys and the girls are going out of town for a week. Yesterday we had a last minute shoot before the busy weekend rolls around. And we couldn't wait til they came back since the colors of the leaves might not be as colorful and possibly all fall off the tree. Overall, success. It's always fun with them.
