I'm blue, da ba de da ba die.

I finally used the blue; flirty/shy, color changing nail polish I got from Claires. I ran my nails through hot and cold water to test it out. I like the color. It helps if your nails are a little longer so it can create a gradient effect. The part on your finger is warm whereas the longer part is a different temperature in some cases. Here are the results.

iTouch the Hippo.

The Man surprised me with an iTouch 4g yesterday night. I was so happy I literally jumped up and down and screeched like a little kid. He bought it to go with the Diddy Beats he got me for Christmas this past year. It felt like Christmas all over again. He and I have been "FaceTime"ing each other and it is so much fun. :DDD

I also received the circle lenses I ordered about 2 weeks ago from Pinky Paradise. These are my first. Yes, these are prescribed for I do not have 20/20 vision. I have been wanting to purchase a few pairs awhile ago but decided to wait on it. I do not plan to wear them everyday like regular contact lenses. The circle lenses kind of irritate the eyes after awhile, at least for me. Nonetheless, I really like the color; adult grey. My order came with an adorable animal contact lens case. I got a Hippo.

In love with a military Man.

This past weekend I had a photo session with my cousin Wendy and her boyfriend, Nhia. They were so in loooooove. Love was definitely in the air. It was so cute. They were fun to work with. We had good laughs and a good time. Here is a peak at how in love and happy they are.

Got the nails did.

I said I would keep the zebra pattern for at least a week, but I failed. Within the past 2 days, I have done my nails twice. Thursday I had the teal design; Urban Outfitters Matte Green 7 and Blue 1. Last night I changed it to a more neutral design; Forever 21's Gold and O.P.I's Tasmanian Devil Made Me Do It. I will stick with it for now.

My look from yesterday. Neutrals and false lashes; Demi Wispies.

Wow! So Cool.

I placed an order on Sunday for a few nail items. It was shipped on Monday and I received it yesterday; 3 days! It was awesome. During the time I waited, my nails had on Pink Promenade Creme by N.Y.C. and topped with Strobe Light by Sally Hansen. As soon as the items came in I removed the previous design and now have a zebra look. I am very happy with the purchase and cannot wait to use it more. I am trying to keep the zebra look for at least a week before doing a new one. We will see how long it goes for before I itch to try other designs.

I ordered my items from WowSoCool. I bought the Stamp & Scraper II and four image plates; m11, m57, m63, and m66.

After the clouds.

We have had cloudy days for the past week. Today was good. I wish there were a tiny bit more clouds to add some personality to the sunset, but this will do. My first successful capture of the year.

20 Stitches.

It was Tony's first year of college and I wanted to knit him a scarf for winter. I got pretty far but I used about 30 or 35 stitches and it was too wide. I un-knitted the whole thing and started over using 20 stitches. It was forgotten about after a few rows and tucked away in an empty glass bowl on top of my bookcase. I started this project 4 years ago. Long, I know. I pulled it out the other day expecting to have had a lot more done, but this was all I got. I plan on finishing it before the cold weather ends. Hopefully this time I stick to it.

Mood Swings.

I went to Claire's earlier today to buy some earrings. I also bought nail polish that changes colors based on your "mood". I have not used the blue yet but the pink looks nice; excited/bored. I tested it by running my nails through hot and cold water. Here are the results. I like it so far. Fun and different.

Do less eating out.

So much for saving money by not eating out too often. Its only been a week since the new year and I have eaten out twice already. I can't help it though. Being semi-busy keeps me away from the house so the only option is to eat out right? Fast and easy, but adds up. Boyfriend took me out to dinner last night. One of our many go-to restaurant is Ho Ho. We had hot & sour soup, pork fried rice, and salt baked squid.

Today we joined my cousins for dinner and drinks at TGIF. I had the Southwest Burger and one of my all time favorite drink, delicious Tropical Berry Mojito.

After eating at Ho Ho last night, the Man and I said we would be good for a few weeks. We didn't even last 24 hours. Booooo. Tonight was an exception though since I haven't hung out with my cousins for awhile. :)

500 Days of Glee!

On December 31st my brother asked me to take him to Target for a few things. I found the greatest deal ever. The complete first season of Glee was on sale for 14.99! I love Glee! Its original price was $44.99. I felt it was too good to be true and almost didn't buy it. Ha. It was on my Christmas wish list and I did not receive it as a gift, but it's ok! The sale ended January 1st. When I went back on New Years day, they were sold out. I am so glad I was a lucky duck. I also bought 500 Days of Summer, on sale for $5.00. :)

Sunset chase fail, again.

After many cloudy-thick days, there was finally a beautiful sunset yesterday. Unfortunately I failed to capture it. Trees, houses, and power lines just happened to be right in front of it. Also, I was stuck on a small street intersecting a busy one. Making a left turn felt impossible; especially since stoplights were only placed further down the block. After finally being able to make a clear turn, I had to scope out the neighborhood to find a clear view. By the time I got to a park facing downtown, the sun was gone. It was sad. I drove to Tony's and happened to drive by the cathedral. It looked pretty. I took a photo while at the stoplight. Instead of a sunset, here is the cathedral!

* I am adding this one to the post as well.
